Document Description
To construct a new vehicle bridge over Little Chico Creek to connect Notre Dame Blvd and a pedestrian Class I bike path undercrossing along the creek bank. The bridge will be 100-foot-long, 56-foot-wide, three-span, cast-in-place utilizing reinforced concrete columns and decking. The project also includes rock slope protection along the banks and bridge piers, rerouting of the bike path on the south side of the creek to connect to the multi-use path, removal of six trees and other vegetations. The construction involves removal and realignment of existing bike path, construction of two concrete abutments and two piers placed on either spread or deep foundation, falsework erection and removal, scour countermeasures and installation of dual arm streetlights on the center concrete median for which a conduit run will be installed under the sidewalk with service boxes at each streetlight location.
