Document Description
The project includes the improvement of one existing spring diversion and the maintenance or upgrade of three seasonal stream crossings. The sole use of the spring diversion is domestic water supply to the primary residence, shop/barn, and storage of water for fire protection. An Initial Statement of Diversion and Use has been filed with the State Water Resources Control Board Division of Water Rights, and a Small Domestic Use Appropriation application is being developed for water storage. Domestic water is currently being supplied by a permitted groundwater well until the spring diversion is improved. The domestic well will be utilized as a backup when or if the spring is not able to satisfy demand. Cannabis cultivation on the parcel is being supplied by an existing permitted agricultural groundwater well that is 200 feet deep. The use of these wells is not subject to notification under Fish and Game Code (FGC) section 1602.
