Reasons for Exemption
Involves minor alterations in the condition of vegetation without the removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees, including fuel management activities within 100 feet of structures that will not result in the taking of endangered, rare, or threatened plant or animal species or significant erosion and sedimentation of surface waters. Also, 15301 because it involves maintenance of existing landscaping and native growth, and Section 15269, because it involves fuel management activities necessary to prevent catastrophic wildfire.
