Document Description
Contra Costa County Public Works Department (County) is assisting the County Health Services Department (HSD) to implement a facility at the County-owned parcel above that will serve for crisis and longer-term residential treatment programs. Expansion of these services in West County was identified as a high priority. The County HSD will be submitting a grant application to the California Department of Health Care Services for Behavioral Health Care Infrastructure Program (BHCIP) grant funding. There are four different buildings at this property running a few different County programs. Only building 847 is being considered for this grant application. This CEQA document covers the BHCIP grant application only. If the grant is awarded and the County HSD decides to utilize this particular property for crisis and long-term treatment programs, a subsequent CEQA analysis will be conducted for the actual project.
