The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has prepared two draft environmental assessments (EAs) under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) to assess the potential environmental impacts associated with the export of U.S. natural gas from two proposed natural gas liquefaction projects in Mexico. Both applications include transfer by pipeline of natural gas from the U.S. to Mexico.
