Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a Clean California Enhanced Restoration project along State Route 710 (SR-710). The work will be along the northbound direction of SR-710 from Alondra Boulevard Overcrossing at post mile (PM) 13.8 to Rosecrans Avenue on ramp at PM R15.3, and along the southbound direction at the Alondra Boulevard on ramp and the Rosecrans Avenue on/off ramps in the Cities of Compton and Paramount, in Los Angeles County. The work will enhance infrastructure by improving the aesthetic landscape appearance along 1.5 miles of roadside, restore the highway planting which has reached its lifecycle and repair/replace the existing irrigation to accommodate the existing and new vegetation (trees, shrubs, ground covers) and add art elements (architectural/structural artwork) into the landscape. The
maximum depth of excavations will not exceed 2-feet in depth for installation of landscaping trees. The project area has been previously impacted by the existing built environment. No public utilities will be relocated for the project. No new right of way is required. No staging or storage areas will be utilized for the duration of the project.
