The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a project to repair/upgrade the Sand, Salt and Brine Structures at the South Lake Tahoe Maintenance Station in Myers on State Routes 89 (SR-89) at post mile (PM) 8.2 in El
Dorado County. The work would include removing damaged metal siding, rehabilitate
the concrete floor, side wall, retaining wall and paint and upgrade water recycling on the Brine Structure. This project is needed to repair/upgrade these facilities to comply with Storm Water Pollution Prevention and State Fire Marshall requirements.
