Document Description
The County of El Dorado intends to improve safety along Pleasant Valley Road. The safety improvement includes the installation of high friction surface treatment along high crash segments of Pleasant Valley Road, centerline and edge-line (thermoplastic traffic stripe), minor clearing and grubbing, solar flashing beacons and rectangular rapid flashing beacon. It is anticipated that a staging area is not required. A storage facility may be needed to store construction materials for a short duration of time. The construction activities are limited to the roadway footprint. Minor right of way acquisitions are expected. Utility relocation is not expected. Short-term detours and traffic delays are expected during construction operations.
