Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-SBR-28219-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Southern California Edison as represented by Hazem Gabr. The project is limited to removing and replacing one wooden pole (Pole 2327563E) with a new wood pole. The new pole will be set by truck. The new hole will be dug by hand or by a machine auger within a three-foot radius of the old pole. Standard excavation depths range between 6 and 10 feet with a diameter of 2 to 3 feet. The area of soil disturbance (i.e. excavation, side casting and backfill) would be limited to approximately 10 feet around the pole, as well as a general 25-foot temporary work area around the pole for the staging and operation of construction vehicles and equipment. The pole will be accessed by a rubber-wheeled truck from Black Meadow Road via 620 feet of travel on an existing unpaved road within the ephemeral stream channel.
