Document Description
The North Coast Resource Conservation & Development Council (NCRCDC) will take approximately 25 members (youth and their families) from the inland Middletown Rancheria of Pomo Indians of California to MacKerricher State Park for two 2-night coastal camping trips. NCRCDC will provide transportation and each trip will include activities such as fin fishing and shell fishing, nature photography lessons, tide-pooling, edible kelp gathering, whale watching, coastal trail running, bird and wildlife watching. Participants will build stewardship skills through hands-on manual dune restoration through removal of invasive beach grass.
