Notice of exemption for Coastal Conservancy approval of grant funding.
Lily of the Valley Emmanuel Church of Jesus Christ will offer approximately 160 members of vulnerable, disadvantaged, historically-excluded, and under-resourced BIPOC communities the opportunity to enjoy the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk and Monterey Bay. Participants will enjoy the coast through personal explorations as well as group coordinated excursions. Some group activities include a scavenger hunt, shark watching, kayaking, observing marine life, beach activities, hiking, boat excursions, beach volleyball, Frisbee, and a beach cleanup to explore the concept of coastal stewardship.
