Document Description
The purpose of the project is to repair roadway and shoulder damage during the 2019 FEMA declared disaster (DR-4434). The 2019 California Severe Winter Storms, Flooding, Landslides, and Mudslides brought an unprecedented amount of rainfall, high winds and storm surge causing widespread damage to the County of Sonoma following the February 2019 storms. Geysers Road incurred such damages during the event. Project repairs for these multiple sites will include: retaining walls, road reconstruction and embankment repairs. These repairs will reconstruct the road to its original width and take preventable measures to avoid future damage to the roadway segment.
