The project is authorizing execution of the First Amendment to San Luis & Delta-Mendota Water
Authority Long-Term North to South Water Transfer Program Activity Agreement. On January 15, 2013, Westlands Water District (District) Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 101-13 authorizing the
District to enter into the Authority’s Long-Term North to South Water Transfer Program Activity Agreement (Activity Agreement), which authorizes the Authority’s preparation and defense of the Long-Term Water Transfers Environmental Impact Statement/Environmental Impact Report (Long-Term Water
Transfers EIS/EIR) and annual coordination of water transfer activities.
On August 4, 2022, the Authority Board of Directors adopted Resolution No. 2022-508 authorizing execution of the First Amendment to the Activity Agreement citing revisions that provide more specificity
to the allocation of costs and extension of the agreement term by one year to December 31, 2024.
