Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-LAN-19740-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the City of Long Beach as represented by Nancy Villaseñor. The El Dorado Duck Pond Restoration Project includes the restoration of the El Dorado Duck Pond. To accomplish this, the pond will be dewatered into the sewer and irrigation system prior to removing approximately 7,000 cubic yards of built-up sediment and debris. Other construction activities include removing the pond liner and bringing the pond to grade, replacing the concrete shoreline, grading/trenching for pipeline work, modifying an existing island within the pond, creating a forebay, creating a detention feature for water quality treatment, and installing seven wetland planters around the edge of the pond.
