Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-ELD-32772-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Tamarack Mutual Water Company. The project is limited to the installation of two temporary watercourse crossings to allow access for equipment to complete fuels reduction work as part of the Tamarack Mutual Water Company (TMWC) California Forest Improvement Program (CFIP) Watercourse Crossing Project. A small excavator will be used to place trench plates at each crossing. Crossings will include either two (2) two-foot by tenfoot plates or one four-foot by ten-foot plate. Trench plates will be removed upon project completion. No material will be added or removed, and no water will be diverted as part of this project. Some vegetation may be trimmed back adjacent to crossings. Equipment to use temporary crossings include a masticator, tracked chipper, and an all-terrain vehicle for fueling and emergency fire suppression.
