Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (EPIMS-HUM-40856-R1C), pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1602, the project Applicant is the California Department of Transportation. The Project will replace existing 6'11" tall by 10'8" diameter, 58'6" long arched culvert with a 60'4" wide bridge with a span of 46'6?. The design of the new structure will improve fish passage. The project will also remove the defunct bridge and associated roadbed approximately 100 feet downstream of the current SR 36 culvert. The defunct bridge is 68 feet long by 21 feet wide with approximately 1,430 square feet of bridge deck. Ward Creek within this area will be recontoured and revegetated to restore the stream channel function and avoid erosion.
