Document Description
The City of Murrieta, in cooperation with California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 8, County of Riverside and the City of Menifee, proposes a new full interchange and auxiliary lanes at Interchange 215 (I-215) and Keller Road in Riverside County. The proposed project is needed due to forecasted increased traffic demand resulting in increased congestion and decreased mainline freeway operations. The proposed new construction would include vegetation removal, the introduction of fill, new construction of an interchange that ties Keller Road into I-215, and new Caltrans right-of-way, as well as construction grading and access. The project limits includes the widening and/or striping of Keller Road from Zeiders Road to Whitewood Road (RIV R14.518). Along I-215, from south to north from post miles R14.10 to R15.26 between the I-215/Clinton Keith Road and the I-215/Scott Road interchanges.
