Document Description
The project is limited to installation of a 16-inch diameter water main pipeline crossing under Sierra Creek along Watt Avenue. The installation will occur northeast of the existing box culvert bridge along Watt Avenue, using a jack and bore method. The pipeline crown will be located approximately 3 feet below the Sierra Creek bed. Excavations for bore and jack pits will be accomplished using conventional heavy duty excavation equipment. Water main installation will be conducted using trenchless methods that will not result in permanent impacts to Sierra Creek.
