Document Description
The project is limited to the new installation of six concrete piers and a 4-foot by 40-foot aluminum staircase with an upper 5-foot by 5-foot concrete pad. The project will be completed exclusively with manual labor, no heavy equipment will be used. A prefabricated stairway and other materials will be brought to the project location via boat. After construction of the pad and piers, the stairway will be winched into place. All construction will occur when the water level is low, and the project site is dry. Rip rap will be placed under the staircase along the existing eroded bank to prevent further erosion. No trees or vegetation will be removed during project activities.
