Document Description
Project will close abandoned mines in Wilder Ranch State Park to reduce risk to public health and safety and reduce further site degradation. The proposed work will fill the open space of each mine with a polyurethane foam (PUF) plug and cover/backfill the plug, by hand, with nearby soil. All work will be completed in conjunction with the Department of Conservation (DOC), Abandoned Mine Lands Unit.
