Document Description
The Purpose of the project is to install debris structures, or Beaver Dam Analogues (BDA), in areas of Saxon Creek and Trout Creek that would benefit from channel aggradation and have potential for expanded riparian width and lateral hydrologic continuity. The watersheds within and downstream of the Caldor Fire Scar present an opportunity to use expected erosion from the post-fire landscape to promote channel aggradation in incised areas of the streams.
