Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a sign replacement project in Kern County on State Routes 14 and 58 at various locations. The project will remove and replace various guide signs and posts at 60 different locations with new sign panels and sign posts. One sign will be removed and replaced at a new location. New wood posts will be installed at a depth of up to 6’. Treated wood waste will be disposed of per EPA Hazardous Waste requirements. Staging will occur within existing disturbed areas within the Caltrans Right of Way or at a Caltrans maintenance yard. All work will be performed within Caltrans Right of Way. No known Environmental resources will be impacted by this project.
