Document Description
Caltrans is proposing a digout project in Kern County on State Route 14 from PM 12.8 to 13.2, and State Route 58 from PM R92.2 to 97.7 and PM 138.6 to 138.9. Digouts will consist of cold planning the existing pavement 0.4’- 1.0’ and replacing with hot mix asphalt. Digout size will vary from whelltrack to full width digouts. Digouts will not extend into the paved shoulder and will not require shoulder backing. Work off the existing pavement will be limited to placing construction area signs and implementation of stormwater BMPs. All work will be performed within Caltrans Right of Way. No known Environmental resources will be impacted by this project.
