Document Description
The project would replace and improve various features of the lifeguard operations facility at Lake Perris SRA. The existing facility has reached the end of its useful life and doesn’t meet current operational needs of the park unit. Work includes demolition of the existing facility, construction of a multi-purpose lifeguard headquarters, including but not limited to, training facilities, vehicle garage, locker rooms, equipment storage, and improvements surrounding the facility.

No potential for significant impact to the environment is anticipated in compliance with CEQA §15300.2. If the project is implemented as indicated within the project description including conditions provided by CDPR staff, then it is exempt under CEQA §15302 – Replacement or Reconstruction. Although the new facility will expand in size and functionality, no impact to resources within and immediately surrounding shall occur as result of the expansion.
