Document Description
The City of American Canyon (City) proposes to annex an 83-acre area that is currently located in unincorporated Napa County and within the City’s Sphere of Influence (SOI), into the City of American Canyon, pending amendments to the City’s General Plan and zoning ordinance, and approval from the Napa County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo). The project includes changes to land use designations and pre-zoning, which would allow for industrial and commercial development in the annexation area. The City also intends to extend Newell Drive as a parallel roadway to SR 29 to relieve traffic congestion.
