Document Description
DWR SJFD staff plans to clear out all vegetation, debris, and two feet of sediment out of the Las Perillas Pumping Plant (LPPP) holding ponds to allow storage of discharged water from the dredging of the canal and LPPP forebay. Staging will take place at the LPPP. A loader, bulldozer, and grader will be used to excavate. Sediment and debris will be placed into dump trucks and dumped off at the Devil's Den Pumping Plant spoil site. The intent of this project is to bring the holding ponds back to their original condition. This work is necessary for maintaining the California Aqueduct.
