Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number EPIMS-SBR-18147-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to San Bernadino County Flood Control District. The project is limited to the removal of an existing arch culvert and replacement of the structure with a reinforced concrete box culvert. The existing structure that will be removed is a 15-foot-wide by 8-foot-high corrugated steel pipe (CSP) arch culvert at the El Rey Avenue crossing, which will be replaced with a redesigned structure that will consist of three, 14-foot-wide by 8.5-foot-high reinforced concrete boxes for a total length of 70 feet. The replacement reinforced concrete structures will include cut-off walls, head walls, wing walls, rock slope protection, reconstruction of the existing four street drainage inlets, and reconstruction of El Rey Avenue roadway, sidewalk, curb and gutter. Temporary impact areas will be restored to pre-construction contours.
