Document Description
This is a pavement rehabilitation project that proposes to use Double Chip Seal to rehabilitate a stretch of Route 162 from PM 22.7 to PM 26.8 and from PM 30.1 to PM 31.7 in Butte County. The rehabilitation strategy uses the application of asphalt binder on existing pavement followed by a layer of aggregate chips. The treatment is then rolled to embed the aggregate into the binder. Localized areas of distress in the pavement will receive full depth AC surfacing replacement.
