Document Description
The proposed project includes the extension of Sand Creek Road from the westerly existing terminus at State Route (SR) 4, across Sand Creek, to Heidorn Ranch Road for approximately 2,300 linear feet. The final buildout of the road includes two phases, the proposed project (Phase I) and future Phase II. Final buildout would consist of four 12-foot paved travel lanes (two in each direction), a 130-foot-long pre-cast bridge that spans over Sand Creek, a 16-foot median to be used for landscaping and stormwater treatment, a three-foot buffer/rolled curb, a five-foot bike lane, and a sidewalk that would run parallel with the roadway on either side. However, construction of the proposed project (Phase I) would include one 12-foot travel lane in each direction, a three-foot buffer/rolled curb in each direction, a five-foot bike lane in each direction, a 130-foot bridge span with abutments over Sand Creek, and associated utilities.
