The Google Bay View Campus is located in Mountain View, California and is an office
campus for employees. Stormwater is collected for reuse from the site surface runoff and collected in the stormwater pond system. Rainwater collected from the building canopies will be combined with the stormwater and treated. Domestic wastewater generated onsite will be collected, routed through an onsite treatment system, and combined with the treated stormwater for reuse. The small wastewater treatment system has an 85,000 gallons per day capacity. The treatment system, except for the subsurface flow wetland treatment cells, are located inside the central utility plant building. The San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board action consists of enrolling the Google Bay View Campus Wastewater and Stormwater Treatment System and discharge in Order WQ 2014-0153-DWQ, General Waste Discharge Requirements for Small Domestic Wastewater Treatment Systems. Small domestic wastewater treatment systems with average monthly flows below 100,000 gallons per day are eligible for enrollment in the General Order.
