Document Description
The project will realign an existing maintenance access road to reduce the slope of the road. The existing access road is a spur that provides access to a pumping well structure on Pipeline 5 of the Second Aqueduct. The road is approximately 60-feet long and is too steep for certain maintenance vehicles to use. The road would be realigned to reduce the slope. Work activities would include grading of a new 12-footwide access spur, approximately 125-feet long, with a slope of less than 10 percent. All work would occur within the Water Authority’s existing right-of-way, within disturbed habitat or existing agriculture.
