Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (Agreement) No. EPIMS-13969-R1I, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Ka Hang. This project has been proposed to conduct ongoing maintenance of an existing low-water stream crossing on Watson Creek and to remedy existing Fish and Game Code violations by addressing obstructions caused by two existing, misaligned, and undersized stream crossings and the installation of a step-pool impoundment on an unnamed stream. Existing stream crossings will be re-aligned with the natural channel and sized to meet 100-year flow design minimizing risk of failure and clogging due to sediment, while the impoundment structure will be hand-removed to allow natural flows to return to the stream.
