Document Description
The State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) is a Responsible Agency for the Project. The State Water Board is financing the Project referred to internally as Coarsegold Elementary Groundwater Treatment and Water Systems Improvements Project. The Project would upgrade components of the Coarsegold Elementary School water system to support the long-term operation of the water system and meet federal water quality standards. The Project activities include upgrading the pump and above-grade well piping and appurtenances at Wells 01 and 03 to provide a more reliable, consistent flowrate; construction of a new 12,000-gallon backwash storage tank and 13,000-gallon treated effluent storage tank; and installation of 850 linear feet (ft) of below-grade piping to connect the components of the water system. The Project would also construct a new 40ft x 20ft treatment process building to house a new filtration system and install security fencing around the Project site.
