Document Description
The project will provide increased ADA access to the a few walkways and a fire access route within theFremont School for the Blind by replacing those walkways and widening a concrete firelane/walkway to a width of 20ft. Work will remove concrete, pavers, landscaping (approx. 3600 sqft), associated irrigation lines, storm drains, light poles, associated electrical lines, walkways (approx. 9000 sqft), and bus shelter/bus map. Work will then install the 20ft wide by 560 ft long accessible walkway/fire lane, install walkways (approx. 9000 sqft), install approx. 8,500 sqft of new landscaping (i.e., plants, new sod), bollards, lighting for walkway, electrical for lighting, storm drains, paint accessible signage, install accessible signage and poles, and reinstalling the bus shelter/map.
