Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2019-0151-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project Applicants, Mozafar Behzad and Hamid Roknian. The Project is limited to subdivision of an approximately 30-acre parcel into 95 lots and construction of 95 houses (one on each lot) with associated development of streets, stormwater retention basin, and other infrastructure. The Streambed Alteration Agreement is being amended regarding the Project’s impacts to fish and wildlife resources subject to Fish and Game Code section 1600 et seq. and associated compensatory mitigation requirements. The Project will permanently impact a total of 0.60 acres of fish and wildlife resources pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1600 et seq. To compensate for permanent impacts to 0.60 acres of fish and wildlife resources subject to Fish and Game Code section 1600 et seq., the Project Applicant shall purchase no less than 2.40 acres of streambed habitat re-establishment and/or rehabilitation credits through a CDFW-approved mitigation bank within the Santa Ana River or adjacent watershed with the approval of CDFW.
