Document Description
A Site Development Permit (SDP) to allow for a temporary classroom trailer within the parking lot of an existing building. The trailer would remain on the property for up to 12 months or until Rainbow Kids, a children’s speech therapy office, relocates to another building, whichever occurs first. The temporary classroom would be used as an auxiliary therapy space for up to three students and one therapist. Upon removal of the classroom trailer from the property, the project site will be restored to pre-project conditions.

Reasons for Exemption
Pursuant to California Environment Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15304, the proposed project is exempt from CEQA under the Class 4 categorical exemption since the proposed project involves the installation of a temporary classroom trailer within the parking lot of an existing developed two-story office building site. The minor temporary use and structure would have no permanent effects on the environment since the proposed project does not involve the use of significant amounts of hazardous substances, is temporary in nature, and would not result in significant adverse effects relating to traffic, noise, air quality, or water quality.
