The proposed project is a General Plan Amendment to update the City of Calistoga’s Housing Element which consists of the following:
1. Housing development constraints (including zoning allowances);
2. Housing needs and fair housing;
3. At-risk housing;
4. Accommodating the Regional Housing Needs Allocation (RHNA) which includes identifying specific sites appropriate for affordable housing;
5. Updating existing & establishing new objectives, policies, and programs, andaffirmatively furthering fair housing through site selection, public outreach, and the development of policies and programs.
