Document Description
Install six (6) aluminum trail head signs and thirteen (13) Carsonite posts within Folsom Lake State Recreation Area to improve visibility of trails and enhance park visitors experiences. Work will: •Use hand tools to excavate twelve (12) 8-inch diameter by up to 18-inch deep holes, •Install one (1) 4 x 4 post in each hole; and •Mount six (6) 36-inch by 30-inch trail head signs (one (1) sign per two (2) holes/posts); and •Use a Carsonite pilot hole driver and post driver tools to install thirteen (13) Carsonite posts up to 18 inches deep. Carsonite posts will contain the trail name, mileage, allowable use, and trail etiquette decals.
