Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SDO-30093-R5, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to San Diego Gas & Electric. The overall project involves replacing a section of existing 16-inch-diameter pipe with approximately 5.95 miles of new 16-inch-diameter pipe, hydrostatically testing the newly installed pipeline, removing 11 spans on the existing pipeline, grouting and filling portions of the existing pipeline, and using three potential laydown yards. The aspects of the project that are covered by this Agreement are three creek crossings – Keys Creek, an unnamed tributary to Keys Creek, and Moosa Creek – where trenchless techniques will be utilized in order to avoid impacts to sensitive environmental resources. Each of the three crossings will be installed either by horizontal directional drilling (HDD) or as aboveground spans.
