The project is the transfer of up to 15,000 AF to Westlands Water District (WWD) from North Yuba Water District (NYWD) post-1914 water licensed by the State Water Resources Control Board Permit No. 11518 from NYWD via the release of stored water from Little Grass Valley Reservoir and Sly Creek Reservoir to the Feather River during the fall of 2022, with subsequent pumping, conveyance, and storage pursuant to a Warren Act Contract with United States Bureau of Reclamation.
