Document Description
The N55 Paving and Drainage Improvements project includes paving, drainage and infrastructure improvements on approximately 49,670 sq. ft. of existing deteriorated asphalt paving at the N55 Service Station. The current condition of the parking lot is a safety hazard for IID employees, outside contractors, delivery personnel and other individuals that access the subject area. The deteriorated asphalt surface can cause tripping accidents. Rainy weather conditions exacerbate the problem since water does not properly drain, creating puddles throughout the area. Routine operation and maintenance of the parking lot cannot be performed because of the deteriorated lot. The parking lot also does not comply with ADA regulations, due to the lack of ADA parking spaces for IID employees. In addition to correcting the parking lot infrastructure, the fire loop will be extended and the cast iron sewer line will be replaced.
