Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an emergency project at six (6) different locations on State Route (SR) 49 in Amador County and SR-108 in Tuolumne County (see Continuation sheet for location details). The scope of work includes repairing slopes, slope paving, and/or installation of security fencing. All work will occur within Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to immediately stabilize the jeopardized slopes and re-establish Right of Way fencing. The project is needed to prevent further damage to Caltrans facilities and prevent complete slope and roadway failures.
