Document Description
Eastern Water Fill Station: A temporary water pipeline will be constructed to connect the existing Westlands Water District (WWD) water supply at the intersection of West Marmon Avenue and Siskiyou Avenues to DWR's eastern water fill station located about 335 feet south of the AP channel. SLFD will prepare for the temporary pipeline construction by removing vegetation and smoothing the ground surface by grading an approximately 1.15 miles long and up to 25-feet wide area at an existing road, which will run west along West Marmon Avenue and then at an angle towards SR 269 and the AP channel. Once grading is complete, Rain for Rent® will install 10-inch diameter aluminum piping above ground between the water supply and eastern water fill station. The 10-inch diameter pipe will connect to the WWD water supply and cross approximately 45 feet northwest over Siskiyou Avenue and will continue to the north side of West Marmon Avenue to follow the proposed pipe alignment along the existing road. A 100-foot by 100-foot area will be graded at the eastern water fill station location and the fill station mechanism will be connected to the temporary pipeline. The pipeline will be located far enough to one side of the graded area to allow the area to be used as an access road if necessary. Western Water Fill Station: A second temporary water pipeline will be constructed above ground to connect the existing WWD water supply located 10 feet north of West Marmon Avenue and 0.5 miles west from SR 269 to DWR's western water fill station. This western water fill station will be constructed within 100 feet of the WWD water supply. The ground will be graded (0.5 miles by 25- feet wide) from the western intersection
