Document Description
The Yucaipa Valley Water District proposes the installation of two recycled water reservoirs located within an industrial warehouse development fronting Cherry Valley Boulevard in the City of Calimesa. These 500,000-gallon reservoirs will be connected to the 12 zone recycled systems and will balance the 12 zone recycled demand flows as the nearest recycled reservoir in the system is over 5 miles north in Chapman Heights. This Project will equalize the purified recycled water from plant to recharge facilities and improve recycled water redistribution. The industrial warehouse development was approved in 2015; part of the approvals included the preparation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR). The reservoirs were included in the EIR for the warehouse development. The reservoir pads have already been graded as part of the industrial warehouse development; therefore, this Project is the construction of the reservoirs only.
