Document Description
The project consists of the replacement of the existing floating cover, liner overflow structure and appurtenances for the clearwell at the Lester J Berglund Water Treatment Plate (WTP) Additionally, a permanent, underground bypass pipeline would be installed between the WTP and the Lake Poway Road Transmission Main. As part of this project, a temporary bypass system would be built in the immediate vicinity of the WTP to divert the treated water during replacement of the clearwell. Temporary facilities would include two 1.4 million-gallon aboveground storage tanks located on the site of the Lake Poway Recreation Area softball field, an above ground pump station at the WTP and related aboveground pipelines. The clearwell preplacement would consist of two concrete tanks. Following the completion of the clearwell replacement project, the temporary facilities would be removed.
