Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), using state funding, is proposing to restore and replace six culverts on State Route 299. from post mile (PM) 55.4 to 56.2 in Shasta County. The project is needed because many of the culverts have deteriorated to the point where corrosion, joint separations, and shape deformations are common problems. The purpose of this project is to bring culverts up to the current standards.
