Document Description
The project will replace a deteriorated 30-inch corrugated steel pile culvert and downdrain, construct a headwall at the inlet, and reconstruct the eroded roadway embankment under the failed down drain. All work will occur within the State right-of-way, and within the currently developed transportation infrastructure. The project maintains the original line, grade, and purpose of the transportation facility. The project will not increase runoff. All work will be done from the roadway and ample shoulder and turnout areas are available for temporary material and equipment storage. No tree removal is required and no vegetation that has any potential to provide nesting habitat for birds will be removed.
