Due to increased staffing levels and lack of sleeping accommodations CAL FIRE proposes to lease an existing 5,353± square foot residence in San Martin, California. The residence contains five bedrooms and four bathrooms which will accommodate four personnel at any one time for rotating shifts. The staff are high level personnel who oversee operations at three different fire stations in the area that include Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and San Jose. No interior or exterior improvements will be required, and the lease is anticipated to last approximately five years until a permanent solution can be determined.
