Install 70 ft. of metal sheet pile seawall. Thirty ft. of proposed seawall will be lakeward of existing cinderblock seawall. Forty ft. of proposed structure will replace old bulkhead. Tules were not present within or adjacent to the project area during the Lakebed Management team’s site visit. Thirty ft. of proposed seawall will be lakeward of existing cinderblock seawall. Construction activities will be conducted as to be determined by the California Department Fish and Wildlife approval to avoid impacts to the Clear Lake hitch. The project is consistent with the Clear Lake Shoreline Ordinance. There will be no removal of native vegetation. The project will not result in significant adverse environmental effects to wetlands or riparian habitats. The project will further require a lakebed encroachment permit from Lake County Water Resources and a building permit from the Building Department. A location map is attached with other project materials.
