Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), using state funding only, is proposing to restore the roadway to a condition that requires minimal maintenance. The project will mill off and replace 0.10’ overlay of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) over approximately 6 miles of SR 299 in Shasta County (PM 0.0/5.7). All work will be confined within the existing roadbed hinge point. Removal of thermoplastic pavement markings will be required. No work will be performed on bridge decks, guardrails, or drainage inlets.
